Trail running and hiking group in Asheboro, NC!
We meet at rotating Asheboro, NC trailheads in the Uwharrie National Forest!
All welcome to join! All paces!
All experience levels!
We have one "Night Hike" at 5:45 AM and one Group Run/Hike at 7:00 AM, both held on the third Saturday of each month! We return to the trailhead parking lot by 6:45 AM for the group run! Come when you can and no worries when you can’t! Please see our “2024 Wilder Uwharrie Group Run/Hike Dates” page for complete list of group runs/hikes!

Free to join! Group members also earn a free Wilder Uwharrie Trail Running silicone bracelet and bumper sticker! Please bring own fueling and hydration!

We also host short nature walks in the Uwharries for children of all ages called “Wild Walks With Littles” and weekend hikes for ALL called “Wild Hikes”! Complete list of 2024 walks and hikes are posted!
